Dos cosas ocurrieron a la vez: los 50 años de Amnistía Internacional y los 50 años de carrera musical de Bob Dylan. En 1961, Amnistía Internacional surgió como una campaña que tendría un año de duración para liberar a los presos políticos, pero terminó por convertirse en un movimiento mundial cuya bandera de lucha es la reivindicación y respeto de los Derechos Humanos. En marzo de 1961, salió al mercado el primer el disco de un joven Bob Dylan que terminaría por convertirse él y sus canciones en una leyenda y referentes musicales.

La mejor manera de celebrarlo es este disco triple en el que más de 80 artistas interpretan 75 canciones de Bob Dylan, compliadas en 4 discos. Como si eso fuera poco todas las ganancias obtenidas por la venta de este disco irán destinadas a Amnistía Internacional.
